Ich war über 30 Jahre Klassenlehrer an Waldorfschulen. In dieser Zeit habe ich nicht nur meine pädagogischen Konzepte weiterentwickeln, mir neue Methoden erarbeiten können, ich hatte auch die Gelegenheit meine Unterrichte für die Praxiserfahrung angehender Waldorflehrer*innen zu öffnen. Dazu habe ich mich zum Ausbildungsbegleiter im Rahmen der Lehrerbildung in der Praxis ausgebildet.
In den Jahren meiner Tätigkeit als Klassenlehrer habe ich erkannt, dass die Eltern der Klasse einen wesentlicher Faktor sind. Es war offensichtlich, dass deren Möglichkeiten in alle Aspekte des Unterrichtens hineinspielen. Nicht immer ist es gleich gelungen, dass sich Eltern dieser Verantwortung bewusst waren. Umso beglückender war dann die Begegnungen mit den Müttern und Vätern, die dies zum Thema hatten.
Neben diesen pädagogischen Aufgaben habe ich auch in der Selbstverwaltung Verantwortung übernommen. Neben der Mitarbeit im Gremium der Schulleitung war es vor allem der Aufbau einer umfassenden Personalarbeit. Hier konnten wir in einem kleinen Team einige Verfahren entwicklen, die die Personalführung, -entwicklung und -pflege in einem selbstverwalteten sozialen Organismus angemessen und nachhaltig implementierte.
